Keno Strategy
When it comes to strategy, keno is somewhat different than games such as blackjack and poker. Actually the only real picks that one gets are which numbers to pick and the amount you wish to wager on the game. At times it does look like there’s not much that a player can do to improve his or her odds, but that’s not exactly true.
The strategies mentioned below will not necessarily work for all players all the time, yet they offer a good guide for where to begin while playing keno. The best thing to do is to try you luck, and test which one works better for you. Some techniques may work better then others for different players!
Strategy 1 – Play Recent Numbers
Playing Recent Numbers involves picking the numbers that came up in recent games. When you notice same numbers being drawn over and over again, you should pike these numbers as they seem to be hot at that time.
Strategy 2 – Pick Other Numbers
Picking Other Numbers means picking numbers that did not come up. This method works because statistically each number should be drawn the same amount of times, so the less often these numbers come up now, the more chances they will show up in later games.
Strategy 3 – Play Same Numbers
Play Same Numbers means playing the same numbers that you played on the last game you lost. This system basically relies on the same logic as Picking Other Numbers with numbers having better chances of being drawn if they haven’t been drawn before.
Strategy 4 – Side by Side Numbers
Very often when you look at the keno board you see the numbers together! It is extremely common in keno, so taking numbers positioned side by side on the tickets, and consecutive numbers can give players a nice advantage.
